Sorry about this one being behind, because it is very important. On November 8, 2016 the United State had a very competitive race between the 2 candidate Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, it was a very close and long race. Their were so many people voting that Trump would not be elected till the next day because of how long it takes to count up the votes. Donald Trump won the electoral votes 306 to 232 Hillary, while Hillary was winning the popular votes at the beginning but soon lost by only a few hundred thousand. 62,972,226 for Trump winning the popular vote and slowly behind is Hillary with 62,277,250. Donald Trump is going to be our new president for the next 4 years, so hopefully our country won't fall of its course and fingers crossed that trump won't diminish Woman's rights, LGBTQ, Medicare for disabilities, and etc.
