The debate-4

After the debate monday night, hillary clinton felt like she had won and almost defeated trump. Even trump claimed that the night could've gone better. Trumps answer to tax returns sounded as if he has never done taxes in his life, he even talked about his business more than the solution to jobs. Every time Trump spoke out he would try to point out what Hillary was doing wrong never what he should be doing thats right. Hillary was able to keep calm and stay friendly towards the voters. Even though there were times when you could tell she got a little bit frustrated. There is still time to hear the rest of the debates so I'm not sure if this is a job well done to Hillary yet or a good luck.

Iowa-4

Iowa resident near the Cedar River have been experiencing many floods. the Cedar River was expected to rise up to its highest levels since 2008. Only about 50% of low-lying residents have voluntarily evacuated except many others are still refusing. The national weather service has predicted that the river will crest Tuesday morning. Th city prepared for the worst to happen which involves safety boats on either side of the river. The river ended up crest at 3 AM Monday morning, at just under 22 feet, 3 feet less than 2008's flood.

The 12 year old boy-4

A 12 year old boy was able to stand up to his school and give his answer on being transgender, after many girls started to complain how transgenders shouldn't be able to change in the same bathrooms. Ari Bowman a transgender boy from Pennsylvania received a standing ovation after stating his opinion on the situation about. He explained that he was a normal boy that loved to play soccer, hangout with friends, and play video games. Ari gave the point that he's been changing in the boys locker room for a while and has never seen a genitalia yet even those he has female genitalia and has tried to change in the girls locker room they scream. "they didn't care that I've had female genitalia, they cared that i looked masculine and was male at heart, They didn't care about my body parts. What made them uncomfortable was my looks". Ari was able to stand up to his community and to his school agreeing with what target has tried to do recently with the bathrooms and what the government is trying to do about transgenders. he concludes his speech with the words "it makes me me, and no one can change that".

The Beaumont Boys-4

a group of 11-12 year olds in Beaumont, Texas knelt down on one knee during the star spangled during their own football game, even the couch joined in. The protest went viral, which the team did not expect, but yet they still protested. the team was threatened multiple times involving other teams playing against them, the Beaumont Bulls board canceling the season, and even people threatening the children and coaches lives. One of the boys Jaleun Parkerson said that "since Colin Kaepernick took a stand, we wanted to do the same, we wanted to stand against racism and injustice". The head coach Rah-Rah Barber even explained to the parents what was happening and they agreed with the decision and gave full approval. from then on the kids kept making the decision to kneel and stand for what they believed in. Sadly the board blamed it on Couch Barber who had "lost control of his team" but Barber stood up and explained that "our kids are waking up, and when that happens, change happens"

Act of Terrorism-3

Ahmad Khan Rahami, is directly linked to the pipe bomb bombing in New York and could be linked to the bombing in New Jersey near a Marine Corps charity run . Many people believe it was an act of terrorism, after 29 people were injured down in Chelsea. The explosion left panic to all of the city, people were running trying to find safety.The next day the investigators found surveillance of the same guy walking near the site of the explosion dragging a duffel bag about 40 minutes before the explosion and near the device found, a pressure cooker. Rahami was identified by his fingerprint being on the cellphone of the pressure cooker, and was found sleeping in the doorway of a bar in Linden, New Jersey. after officers responded Rahami shot at them and they shot back shooting him multiple times. Thankfully now there will be heightened security through the city in terminals, airports, and subway stations. Obama spoke about the conflict and complimented New York, "They don't get scared," he said. "That's the kind of strength that makes me so proud to be an American. And, that's the kind of strength that is going to be absolutely critical, not just in the days to come, but in the years to come"

How does pokemon GO help children?-3

An article written by Rachel Cao explains a solution to helping children diagnosed with Aspergers and Autism. Pokemon Go is an very popular app that gets children and even parents out of the house to collect different species of animas. Stephanie Barnhill a mother to 12 year old Ian Thayer explained that her son recently had a love for the outside and his community.  Pokemon Go rewards kids for going to pokestops at different popular landmarks. Lenore Koppelman a mother to 6 year old Raphie who was diagnosed with autism and hyperplexia explains how her son has verbal difficulties but using pokemon GO has influenced her child to associate and communicate with more children. It's interesting because everyone playing is so fixated on catching pokemon "that they are concentrating on finding them more than they are concentrating on his behaviors, like kids usually do" Its another way that children with physical disabilities can fit in! Hopefully these news will be shown all over the world and kids with different disabilities will experience what normal kids these days are doing.

As the United States got closer to Russia, Russia got more skeptic so the U.S rebounded and expanded their spying operations against Russia. the Mobilization involves clandestine CIA operatives, National Security Agency cyberspironage capabilities, satellite systems and other assets. The U.S. believes that we will have many terroist threats and be another war zone. The U.S. claims that it is a "effort to rebuild U.S. intelligence cabalities that had continued to atrophy even as Russia sought to reassert itself as a global power". Right now terrorism is the top concern for the intelligence services because we have been behind my Moscow's aggression towards the annexation of Crimea, the intervention in the war in Syria, and the suspected role towards hacking against the U.S. and Europe. The government fears that Russia is trying to influence the outcome of the presidential race, they are now a priority on the intelligence list. Many people have different opinions on what Putin is figuring out but 2 former U.S. intelligence officials involved in the spying operations claim that "Putin's motivations are consistent and clear-to reclaim his country's standing as a global rival of the United States, to destabilize Western governments that contest that aim and to constantly test how much Moscow can provoke its adversaries before they respond". Thank goodness we are figuring out the problem, but hopefully we can track down those 150 Russian foreign intelligence operations! 

Is Donald Trump keeping secrets?-3

After Hillary fainted due to her sickness, Trump agreed to discuss his health problems on Dr.Oz, but after a few questions that were heard were going to be asked trump slightly backed out. His campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway discussed that trump would explain his health records but not in full extent. She discussed that it was unfair that so many americans don't have to share their records but the fact that Trump does is so extensive it is a private situation. It was voted that if trump wins he will become the oldest and "healthiest individual ever elected to presidency" says a letter written by Harold N. Bernstein a doctor of Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan. I understand how it can be such a big deal to share a personal information but it is the right of the people to know that we are voting for a healthy president that will stick around!

Clintons Pneumonia -3

At the 9/11 memorial on sunday, Hillary Clinton fainted due to the sickness of pneumonia and dehydration, causing many of the voters to get very worried. People started getting anxious about what would happen, if she would still be a candidate, and etc. But Clinton did portray that even when she was "under the weather, she would want to power through her normal schedule" she still was caught up with the media and socialized through the internet. Not putting the fact that she had pneumonia first and putting what was important to her, the election, in front. Many people did get upset that she did not discuss her health and kept it a secret. Her doctor did release her medical form on her mild case of pneumonia, which did relieve some stress from many people. Hopefully Hillary is getting better and will be back on her feet as soon as possible!

Hurricane-2

In Florida there have been many strong winds and crazy weather that resulted in a 80 mph winds around the coast.  The hurricane knocked out more than 250,000 people's power and fears of additional damage is overcoming the people of florida. Thankfully once the winds hit the land it downgraded into a tropical storm. The storm still spun and stretched from tampa to to the barrier islands of pensacola with a 74 mph gust. Florida's Governor Rick Scott told residents to avoid "unnecessary travel as trees, power lines, road signs, and traffic lights come down across the state". As of 9:30 am this morning 99% in Osceola County were without power. This was the first hurricane that has hit Florida in 11 years since Hurricane Wilma struck in 2005.

SpaceX rocket explodes-2

An explosion destroyed a rocket that belonged to Elon Musk's spaceX called the Falcon 9, in Cape Canaveral Air Force station. It destroyed everything in it and on it and collapsed from head to toe. it was a routine test for firing at Cape Canaveral, it was meant to blast off and place a satellite in orbit. Luckily no injuries but during the fire the loss of a communications satellite owned by Israel was destroyed, it was meant to expand internet access in Africa. The cause is still unknown. Space X was founded in 2002 and began launching June of 2010, since then it has had 27 successful flights and only one launch accident that destroyed a load of cargo. Scientist are looking into the cause of the destruction and are hoping to have more success in the next year.

Did we find new life?-2

Its crazy to think that scientist have finally discovered another planet that could be another destination to life. An article written by Elliot McLaughlin explained that scientist had gotten a signal that was registered by an radio telescopes located at Zelenchukskaya observatory in Southwest Russia. the Telescope was called the Ratan-600, the telescope did not give them as many answers as did astronomer Nikolai Kardashev's 1964 invention. Kardashev developed a system that could categorize life forms, humans are almost type 1, and this new signal could be a type 2. A type 1 civilization would be able "to marshal energy resources for communications on a planet-wide scale", pretty much the entire human race. A type 2 civilization would go beyond earth of almost 10 billion, it would be able to "harness all the energy emitted by its star". A type 3 civilization would have evolved far enough to energy source of an entire galaxy. Who knows if this invention is telling the truth but scientist and humans are trying to figuring out if the possibility of another world is existent.
