Iowa-4

Iowa resident near the Cedar River have been experiencing many floods. the Cedar River was expected to rise up to its highest levels since 2008. Only about 50% of low-lying residents have voluntarily evacuated except many others are still refusing. The national weather service has predicted that the river will crest Tuesday morning. Th city prepared for the worst to happen which involves safety boats on either side of the river. The river ended up crest at 3 AM Monday morning, at just under 22 feet, 3 feet less than 2008's flood.
