1. Israel has a parliamentary system. Their power is organized by the Prime Minister becoming the head of government and also the leader of the multi-party system. Israel has all three branches of the government but the Judiciary branch is Independent. Israel does not live off of the Constitution and has a unitary system.
2. There are 34 political parties in Israel
3.The most important parties are ones with Knesset seats. A Knesset is the unicameral national legislature of Israel. The ones with most Knesset seats are Likud (national liberalism) and Zionist Union.
4. Israel's political system allows for a multi-party system with many different parties represented in the Knesset with only 120 seats.
5. The parties seem to be organized by what group is currently ruling. The top 3 groups are different Zionist groups; Labor Zionism, Revisionist Zionism, and Religious Zionism. There are a few Zionist Orthodox religious parties and anti-Zionist Israeli Arab parties that few people like to join.
